The Concord Prison Experiment
In the 1960s, Harvard researchers conducted an experiment at a nearby prison in which they provided soon to be parolees with psilocybin mushrooms to test whether or not it would lower the recidivism rate when compared with those who did not receive the psychedelic compound.
