Great discussion of Ben Shapiro discussion of Federalist Papers and the structure of the U.S. Constitution involving separation of powers. His remarks are a good reminder of why reliance on the good nature of those in our administrative state to govern us is a bad idea. The unchecked power of bureaucrats (and lobbyists) has expanded government, which is largely unaccountable. Our bureaucrats are generally not bad people. They just serve the government, not the people or the Constitution. Wonder why government is failing? It's not because of adherence to Constitutional principles.
