The project was founded in 2016 by Graham Lorimer and Ned Scott. The site is still in its beta base but it's sure going to be a big part of the future .
steem is a social media platform where people can blog and upload content and get financially rewarded for it via a cryptocurrency scene members can upvote posts and comment that the authors can be financially rewarded. You are the voter can also be rewarded when you upload the posts which later turned out to be very popular.
The payment system - steem is a cryptocurrency which can sold on trading wesites ,all the curreney a fixed amount of steem , is produced every day and mix up the rewards that are available for posts and voters
