Gennus Aspilia

This beautiful sunflower is a common weed of field crops in West Africa found in fallow land, especially in the forest zone. There are several indigenous uses of this flowering plant. The most notable use of this plant i remember when i was little is to stop bleeding and fast healing of wounds and it works like miracle and also used in the treatment of rheumatic pain.

The plant is used to treat different diseases in different ecological zones as a result of various ecological conditions of differenplaces and it has stunning hairs all over.
