My first experience spending HBD at Grand Options

I signed up on Hive about 6 months ago but I am yet to make a long form post due to the busy nature of my job. But my friend @fokusnow invited me to come and learn about the SpendHBD opportunity where spending money is rewarded. I came and he explained things to me and its sounds too good to be true.

So I bought small HBD and went to grand options to buy some stuffs and experience how shopping has turned into an opportunity to earn rewards. It was a great experience.

Once o was done picking the two items that I want to buy which is Pear lotion and a perfume, it was time to pay. Usually I should have paid in Naira which is the popular local currency. Buy since I have HBD in my wallet, i paid with it.

The store attendant generated a QR code for me and I scanned it to make the payment. It was very quick and didnt take more than a few seconds. After the payment, I was shown how to claim my discounts from the distriator app. It was equally a smooth and easy job. I was so happy to have my discount and try this new experience. This is why i decided to quickly share my joy with new friends.

What I think about SpendHBD

This is a cool project which i just pray that it lasts for long. In this Nigerian economy, where inflation has made the prices of Goods to skyrocket. This project will really help people to spend less and buy more. It is actually not popular yet as many people do not know about it. So I encourage the facilitators in Aba to list more shops and create more awareness.

I will be telling my kids about this so that they can start shopping and earning from it. are right now in the university. If shops and businesses there are listed, it will help a lot
