LODE STAR - A TURKISH TELENOVELLA

In Nigeria, watching international tele-novellas is a norm. The most popular channel is the Mexican channel is TELEMUNDO. Most women love watching the soap operas aired on this channel. The one I am currently watching is 'THE BOSS'.

However, soaps from Turkey are slowly taking the place of Mexicans soaps. Lode Star is a very interesting one that captured the heart of African soap opera watchers.

The plot is spun around a beautiful young lady, Zuhre who is forced to marry a very old and rich man, Fikret. She flees and in the process falls in the love with a young man named Seyit. The series shows the young couple faced with challenges as Fikret's son, Zakar and his men hunt them down and threaten their family.

It currently airs on the FOX LIFE channel. If you haven't watched any episode, you are in luck because they just began showing the episodes from the beginning.
