Gladiators | Splinterlands | What am I even doing?

I joined the Guild "Yield Guild Ravens" when I came back to Splinterlands because my old friend @pvmihalache was in the Guild and put in a good word for me. 😜 I have been Brawling like there is no tomorrow trying to amass Merits to buy these cool cards called Gladiators. I managed to buy a few chests already which has been awesome.

I thought Gladiator cards were only usable in Brawls. But I was always confused why I could never use the ones I unlocked already.

Today I faced someone in the Modern Battle format that used a Gladiator card against me. I noticed they had a cool Summoner too...

It was at that exact moment I realized how stupid I was. You need a Summoner that has the ability that lets you summon Gladiator cards. So stupid of me. But hey I am learning. So I went and bought 2 Summoners (I could only afford two).

I bought a PEMBROOK NYMPH for roughly 400 DEC.

I also bought a OCTAVIA SHADOWMELD for about 400 DEC.

I figured they were good ones to start with as they were Water and Death and either +1 or -1 HP which is decent.

And lucky for me a Brawl ended today and I won 415 Merits which was JUST enough to buy another Gladiator Case.

I don't have AMAZING Gladiator cards by any means but I am starting to collect a few 😉
