Automated Tax for Crypto in Europe?

This morning, I looked into the topic of taxes, specifically the taxation of crypto transactions.

It seems that a lot has changed in Europe, and if I understand correctly, platforms are now required to report transactions to the tax authorities. What I haven't figured out yet is whether I have to declare this separately on my tax return or whether, since they have received the data, it will be reported in the same way as wages, for example.

As I understand it, this applies to Europe. My question to you, if you come from other countries around the world, is: How is this regulated in your country?

I find the whole thing still very confusing and I don't know who to ask. My tax advisor just shrugs his shoulders.
