Recentlty, Facebook announced to implement election ad transparency and now the biggest search engine, Google is ready to take initiatives to improve election ad transparency.
According to the company statement, Google will let users see what organization is behind the ad and what their political affiliations are. In addition to this, the company will also issue information regarding how many impressions the ad received and even how much money is being spent on it.
This definitely is a big step towards transparency and the company has more plans to make things even better.
