Developers will have an AI platform in upcoming windows 10 update
In a recent post by Microsoft, the company said in the next update for Windows 10 there will be a dedicated AI platform for developers. This AI is nothing new for Microsoft as it is already being used for services like Windows Hello and Office 365. This is for the first time that, a developer-oriented AI platform is being introduced.
This new AI platform will help developers to take advantage of a user's PC resources to perform AI processing tasks. This platform will support the ONNX format for machine learning models. This will help developers to reduce or eliminate potentially expensive cloud processing solutions.
This new Windows version will also have the facility of pre-created machine learning systems to speed up generic AI tasks which will further reduce development costs.
