Cultivation of pepperment and the way oil extracted from their plants.
Hello dear dtubers!
How is the cultivation of pepperment and in what way is the oil extracted from their plants? This video has been discussed about this matter. As we all know, India is an agricultural country where three crops are grown throughout the year. At this time the wheat crop is cutting and the crops of pepperment have reached their middle stage.
For the cultivation of peppermint, the fields are first planted twice by the tractor and after plowing the farm, the roots of the pepperment are sown in the queue. Or is pressed inside the ground by a hoof.
After that the farm is irrigated or the process of should be done three times but the irrigation of the plants is discontinued during the cultivation of plants, otherwise the amount of oil is likely to be reduced. After 15 days the fields are broken by spade so that the lower part of the land can easily get sun and air. After this, when plants grow bigger, they are weeded by the hoof for destruction of weed. Plants have become quite dense after they grew up.
Planting plants should be cut and left in the sun if yellowness came in the peperment plants. If there is more sunlight then the plants should be collected by the evening. Due to sunlight, leaves of plants become very soft and they start to produce a special type of smelling. After this, these plants are closed by climbing all around in a large canister compartment and warming them down from the fire. This tin box should be very strong, otherwise there is a possibility of pressure bursting.
After being hot, as a steam, their oils are collected in a jar kept out by the tube attached in the tin box. Then they are sold in the market. Their prices continue to decrease according to their productivity. Currently the oil of pepper is sold at Rs 1700 per liter. In this way, farmers cultivate pepperment and earn profit from them. Although these require very hard work, because its smelling is so intense that it is very difficult to bear.
