Mom's succulents (part 1).

I am the number one fan of the succulents in my mom's garden. I always knew that the first time I picked up a camera, it would be in her garden. I love those plants. They have something unusual about them, something that makes them seem otherworldly.

I call them green flowers because that's what they look like. Every day I visit them, one is more lush than the others. They exude such beauty and life with their vibrant colors that I even wanted to capture them in black and white.

Las suculentas de mamá (parte 1).

Soy la fan número 1 de las suculentas del jardín de mi mamá. Siempre tenía en la cabeza que la primera vez que tomara cámara en mano sería en su jardín. Amo esas plantas. Tienen algo fuera de lo común, algo que las hace parecer de otro mundo.

Yo las llamo flores verdes porque eso es lo que parecen. Cada día que voy a visitarlas hay una más frondosa que otra. Esa belleza y esa vida que desprenden con sus vibrantes colores que incluso quise llevar a blanco y negro.
