Light and Healthy Fish Broth
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing fine and finding reasons to smile today. This is my very first time posting here in BayaniHive, so I hope it'll give you a good mood, a great appetite for reading and looking through the photos. Thank you, @vinzie1, for creating this community and allowing us to share.
I have been very busy with teaching since it was summer vacation for most of my students. After an almost 2-month hiatus, I am back!!!
It’s a lovely day to cook another dish the local way! I’m so excited to share it with you, Hivers. This dish was actually made two months ago. Sorry for the very late post. I suppose I must redeem myself here. hehe
Let's go!
I prepared all the ingredients and washed them all thoroughly.
These are the ingredients:
medium-sized ginger
one tomato
three red onions
one medium-sized stalk of lemon grass
one bell pepper
four stalks of bok choy
slices of fresh fish
Slice the tomato, onion in half, the bell pepper, ginger, and fold the lemon grass. Verga let me remove the tomato seeds. I don't know why, I just followed him. He knows what to do. He is the cook, and I am merely an assistant. lol.
Slice the bok choy.
Wash and set aside the freshly sliced fish.
I separated three slices of fish to fry.
Combine the sliced tomato, ginger, red onion, and lemongrass in a pot. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
Then, add the fish.
After a few minutes, add the bok choy. Season to taste. Once it reaches a boil, turn off the heat.
It is ready to serve.
This soup is light, refreshing, and simple, yet packed with health benefits.
Pair it with rice and fried fish, and you've got a meal that's irresistibly tasty and soul-satisfying. Bon appétit!
A meal during trabaho!
