Aston Villa - Manchester United

I had huge expectations to this match, and as a #united fan I am not disappointed about the result. But the performance did leave some to be desired.

Conclusion / review

Not a great performance, but we take the result. Three wins in a row for #manchester #united.
It feels like we are turning a corner now, getting into a great run of form - especially for Rasmus Højlund who is now the 2nd youngest ever to score in five successive Premier League appearances, only behind Nicolas Anelka, who did it back in 1998.

We started the game really well I think, lots of good pressing.
When Shaw was substituted I think the entire game changed. And then they equalized. I did not have a feeling that we would get anything out of the game at that point, but we did!
Great move, taking out the tempo of the game and getting back in control. Then putting on Scott was also great. I had been thinking when that would happen, and everything I would have done, happened.
Bruno to the right, Garnacho to the left and Scott more or less as a second striker.

It left a lot of space in the middle of the park sometimes, but we dealt with it very well.
Kobbie Mainoo is destined for greatness.

The guy have had 3 wrong decisions/actions in all his games. Perhaps a bit more than 3, but definitely a monster of a player. He is so good

Rest of season

We are now 6th in the table, just 5 points off from Aston Villa. That would have been 11 points if we had lost today. But it's just 5! Very do-able.
#Tottenham Hotspur is 6 points ahead and I believe they will be dropping points towards the end of the season. This has me optimistic about securing a top 4 spot - and Champions League football next season!

A succesfull season in my opinion is a top 4 finish.
