The Scent Leaf Plant ☘️☘️. The importance and planting methods.

Hello and happy day to everyone in this great community. I hope we are doing well.

Yesterday, I visited the market to get scent leaves. The scent leaf is used for many purposes. It could be used in cooking rice,yam portage, and pepper soups.

This scent leaf plant could be planted via several means. When fully matured, the seed can be used to cultivate the plant. This could be done by spraying the seeds around the farm.

If the seeds are not matured enough,and the farmer still needs to plant, he could use the stems.

So after separating the leaves which we used to cook our delicious rice, I gathered the stems and took them to my garden and planted them.

Here were the steps I took for the planting.
I first dug up some holes which I would have the stems placed in.

After that, I placed the stems in groups of two,some three in the holes and covered them up. One can decide to cover the holes first and then pin the stem into the soft covered holes.

I then watered the scent leaf plant.

Finally I had to wash my cutlass and place it outside to dry.

Here are a few importance of the scent leaf plant you may not know.
The leaves can be used to stop stomach ache, vomiting and dysentery. The blood sugar level can be maintained by taking scent leaves.
