The Other Bible

I remember when I was in high school. We were taught different religions and their holy books. We different teachers who taught us both Christian religion,Islamic religion and the traditional religion. We only had a light touch on the last two religions but dwelled more on the first.

I remember when we had an excursion to the state library. We explored a lot of books. The library was a big one that we lost track of our teachers and some of the library personnels. It contained thousands of books from different parts of the world.

The most unexpected shock we had was when we saw a book titled "The Other Bible".

We were so confused and curious as we have never heard of the Other Bible and our religious teachers never told us of such book. We had to pick it up and rushed to our Christian religious teacher who told the Other Bible gathers in one comprehensive volume ancient, esoteric holy texts from Judeo–Christian tradition that were excluded from the Holy Bible.
