Freya's French Horn piece at the Glasgow Music Festival 2022
A remastered version of the 720p video I uploaded on the night of the concert with externally recorded stereo audio with the background hum of the venue's heating system removed.
This was the final night of the festival and Freya's first time taking part. She won the brass and woodwind prize during the week and so was invited to compete in the final. We were so thrilled as we hadn't seen her performing live since she started at Douglas Academy in August 2020. Her playing is next level compared to what it was when she left Arran High School in June 2020.
She's off to Guildhall to study music as an undergrad in September this year. I'm sure she'll love it there!
The piece she's playing is Cantecor, by HENRI BÜSSER.
