A Cozy Winter Story ~ Foraging in the Forest
Five years ago my partner and I had the opportunity to become caretakers of a large, mostly abandoned homestead in the mountains of rural Argentina. After backpacking for years, moving from farm to farm constantly, we were excited to put down roots. Once we got to know the land and the surrounding forest we felt truly lucky to have found this place. But, that isn't to say this process has been easy.
Now, five years on, we have learned a great deal about surviving and thriving on this land and today I wanted to share one aspect of the process, getting ready for winter!
