A quick search on ‘dried meat’ brought up more than 30 entries of different types of dried meat on Wikipedia (don’t judge me). Jerky is well known in the United States while I’ve also heard about Carne-de-sol from my Brazilian friends. There’s different ways of preserving meat from different cultures and people from all around the world! The one I’m holding here is a huge hit during Chinese New Year but available the whole year round - bak kwa. Thanks Queenie for this sweet treat! :)
