This is the new referral program that splinterlands has, when people join splinterlands using your referral Link:

They will become your referrals and they will give you benefits even if they don´t purchase the Spell Book, this benefits will be in Glint until they purchase the Spell Book, them you will earn Credits and even DEC if you are in Gold Tier.

Benefits:

Silver Tier:

This is currently the basic tier after referring anyone you will be able to enjoy the benefits of this Tier even if no one has purchase a Spellbook.

• Earn 5% of your friends’ end-of-season Glint rewards.
• You and your friends each earn 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook.

Gold Tier:

Requirements: 10 referrals who have at least $100 in purchases (via primary, secondary, or rental markets)

Benefits:

• Everything in Silver, plus:
• Earn a 5% bonus for all packs your friends purchase.
• Earn 1% of your friends’ transactions6 on peer-to-peer markets.

Tips to get referrals:

The obvious ones is share your referral link:

• With your Friends.
• Social Networks(youtube, twiter ,facebook, etc).
• On others Discord Groups related to NFT games.

Make sure you don´t are just making spam, try to make something looks unique that is not perceived as a spam.

Make a guide for them or give them links to guides so they can understand well how everything works.

If you have contact with them try to help them answering their questions, maybe delegate some cards for some time to make things easier for them.
