The Delivery Rush / El Apuro del Repartidor [Eng-Esp]

Hello friends from Qurator,

I love photography challenges, and this is my second time participating in the Qurator’s Photo Quest | Motorcycles.

As soon as I saw the topic motorcycles, I remembered how, after the pandemic, the delivery boom exploded in my country. Different companies arrived, and many people started their own businesses delivering goods on motorbikes.

I remembered a series of panning shots I once did and thought: why not go out and try again? So I grabbed my camera and spent an hour by a busy avenue shooting panning photos of motorcyclists. Several waved at me, but I kept the most natural shot: an independent man, fully focused, carrying blankets who knows where to?

Here’s a small photo series that I hope reflects the energy of this new motorcycle movement. I’m very happy to be part of such an inspiring challenge by @qurator.

Hola amigos de Qurator,

Me encantan los retos fotográficos y esta es mi segunda vez participando en el Qurator’s Photo Quest | Motorcycles.

Desde que vi el tema motocicletas, recordé cómo después de la pandemia reventó el boom del delivery. Diferentes empresas llegaron a mi país, y muchas personas también emprendieron por su cuenta llevando mercadería en sus motos.

Me acordé de un post antiguo que hice de barridos y pensé: ¿por qué no volver a intentarlo? Así que cogí mi cámara, salí a una avenida con buen flujo, y me quedé una hora entera haciendo barridos a motociclistas. Varios me saludaron, pero me quedé con el más natural: un señor independiente, enfocado, cargando mantas, probablemente rumbo a una feria o mercado.

Aquí les dejo esta pequeña serie de fotos. Ojalá sea de su agrado y estoy feliz de participar nuevamente en un challenge tan estimulante como este de @qurator.
