Character Design Challenge : Stylish Critter

Hey Draw A Day artists and members. I’m excited to launch this new character design challenge. Let’s design a fancy animal character with a unique fashion twist. Join in and show off your creativity

Here’s how to participate:

Main Prompts (Required): Your original character must include all three:

1. Anthropomorphic Elegance: Design a character with an animal head (like a cat or fox) that looks sophisticated through posture or expression.
2. Eclectic Fashion Mix: Create an outfit mixing formal and quirky elements, like a bow tie with oversized pants or a cape.
3. Exaggerated Silhouette: Use oversized proportions, such as a long coat, wide pants, or a tall hat, to make the character stand out.

Optional Prompts (For Fun): Add any of these if you’d like:

• Bold Color Palette: Use contrasting colors, like blue outerwear with a green or mustard base.
• Personality Through Details: Add a detail showing the character’s personality, like a cane, pocket watch, or glasses.
• Era-Inspired Twist: Mix a fashion era (Victorian, 1970s, or futuristic) with the character’s animal features.

How to Join:

• Post your character design in the Draw A Day Community.
• There's no deadline – create at your own pace
• Share a link to your post in the comments of this announcement, along with your design.
• Use the hashtags #characterdesign and #drawaday.
• Include a brief backstory for your character (e.g., "Sir Paws struts into the gala to win the best-dressed award").
