En mala hora llegó

la desgracia a visitar

mi hogar
Ver los nubarrones más

grotescos ocultando

la claridad del cielo,

anunciando la tempestad
La tragedia escrita en el

miedo recorriendo mi piel
La lentitud del tiempo

agobiando mi corazón
¡Oh! cuan impotentes

somos cuando nada

cambia la catástrofe

anunciada
¡Oh! cuan amargo es

el sabor de la derrota

advertida sin combate

sucedido
Al cuitado tocado por

el cruel hado de la

calamidad, una pesarosa

resignación le ata la

voluntad

 
At the wrong time

the misfortune to visit

my home
See the clouds more

grotesque hiding

the clarity of heaven,

announcing the storm
The tragedy written in the

fear running through my skin
The slowness of time

overwhelming my heart
Oh! how powerless

we are when nothing

changes the catastrophe

announced
Oh! how bitter it is

the taste of defeat

warned without combat

happened
When touched by

the cruel fate of the

calamity, a sorrowful one

resignation binds him the

will.
