So long have we been waiting.
Some people have even given up.

Those of us who have stuck around know its going to happen.
However, we really only think linearly.

Bitcoin isn't going to go to some arbitrary dollar amount
Bitcoin isn't going to just go the moon

Bitcoin is going to replace everything fiat. (Bitcoin - meaning, the entire crypto space. No CBDCs allowed)

The only thing to compute is how much of Exter's pyramid will remain.

Derivatives

The top of Exter's pyramid, Derivatives are going to disappear.
Well, both parties in a derivative exchange are going to go bankrupt before the larger derivatives are ever disentangled enough to know who owes whom, what.

Banks doing risk management swaps:
Most of these are so complex it will take 20 years for lawyers and accountants to work out what is what. But before that 20 year process is finished, both banks will be gone. Or one will have bought out the other.

Imagine one BIG bank now owning both sides of a bet... and still keeping it on their books.
This is what the future will look like.

Insanity.

Especially when smart contracts will make these obsolete (and worthless)

Bonds, and then Fiat

Again, blockchain offers far better ways to borrow, lend and exchange crypto (money).
All of these paper shenanigans will be seen for the ponzi scheme they are, and no one will want them.

Smart contracts just make the borrowing and lending thing far more streamlined and efficient.
Putting up bitcoin as collateral for a loan... all done without human interference, and all contingencies (except larger meteor coming crashing down and throwing all the dinosaurs into space) already worked out, and trigger automatically.

This part of Exter's pyramid will try to rush through the door into crypto, but most of it will just turn to dust.

The price of Bitcoin

So, the price of bitcoin will just sort of become a meaningless question.
Lambos per bitcoin, which coinmarketcap has done as an april fools joke, may actually become a real measurement.

Bitcoin will take on all of the global market. Billions of people working with only millions of bitcoin. So, really, a full bitcoin will become a mythical thing. And satoshis will be considered very valuable.

In other words, bitcoin isn't going to the moon, it is going to beat Elon to Mars.
