The Mayor of Proletarsk on the "Stable" Situation in the City

The mayor of Proletarsk claimed that the situation in the city is "stable," despite the oil depot burning for the sixth day. According to him, the air in the city is supposedly safe to breathe, and there are no plans for evacuating residents.

However, the situation on the ground is far from stable. Fuel tanks have begun to explode, and soldiers can be heard shouting, "Our boys are there!" The distance to the oil depot is 300-400 meters, and if it's hot at that distance, those who were near the tanks have likely burned like matches. Yet, the Russian authorities insist that everything is under control and that there are no casualties.

Such statements are especially cynical against the backdrop of an ongoing disaster that is turning Proletarsk into a hellish place. People remain without evacuation, and the true number of casualties is unknown. Meanwhile, Russian propaganda continues to create an illusion of stability and control.
