Harris Vows Strong Support for Ukraine and NATO if Elected U.S. President

On the final day of the Democratic National Convention, Kamala Harris, after officially agreeing to run for president, strongly defended Ukraine and NATO. In her speech, she sharply criticized previous comments made by Republican candidate Donald Trump regarding the war in Ukraine.

"As president, I will firmly stand by Ukraine and our NATO allies," Harris declared, emphasizing the importance of maintaining unity and supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

She also mentioned that five days before the full-scale invasion, she warned President Volodymyr Zelensky of the impending Russian attack on Ukraine. Harris noted that she played a key role in shaping the U.S. diplomatic response, uniting over 50 countries in support of Ukraine.

U.S. Elections
The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 5 this year. The newly elected president and vice president, chosen by the American people, will take office on January 20, 2025, following the inauguration.

Harris and Trump are expected to have two rounds of debates, with the first scheduled for September 10 on ABC News.
