To start the week off, we are visiting a post by Hive account@sarcastic.taco which dives into some of the reasoning behind depression. A widely misunderstood topic by many due to a lack of self-awareness and support.

The post itself is beautifully written and it gives a brilliant insight into some ways to find a way out of the loop.

Whatever you do and no matter how much you want to, avoid staying all alone wallowing in misery in a dark corner. No one has ever benefited from that in the entire history of mankind.

Hive account@sarcastic.taco joined the community at the beginning of the week and dived right into the Drop in the Ocean show, showing a desire to learn, improve, and become a part of the family. What does cooking mean to you? Is it something you do because it's necessary, or are you in touch with your inner-chef?

Hive account@bluefinstudios shares a post with us about the importance of his kitchen, specifically the butcher block tablhe'swhich he has grown in with his family. He's now working on sharing his knowledge of cooking and the kitchen with his daughters, using the knowledge hes built over the years within his family, and alongside his wife.

Big congratulations are in order for Hive account@sams-world. He's just finished his very first novel! What an accomplishment to achieve and add to your belt. He shares the feelings and notions that he experienced when finding the inspiration, and he shares the feelings of doubt and anxiety which he smashed through along the way.

Who was I to write a story? A novel? I'm not even talented. I'm not even a native english speaker. The idea is bad. The plot is flawed. The characters are flaky.

After the initial enthusiasm, I felt, it all became a true test of my own character.

Hive account@sams-world thoughts about inspiration highlight the importance of it when it comes to writing. Sam goes further still and shares the love for writing, the real meat on the bone which builds a true desire to grow in your mind.

These moments, when you just completely forget the time, and everything else around you. Nothing matters, not the "success", the approval... the applause.
