She is working towards her PhD and shares her nervousness and excitement with us in her latest post. Aside from just one semester in Ghana, she hasn't been outside of the West Coast.

This is the culmination of several years of work and dreams.

I’m flying on Memorial Day, and by this time next week, I’ll be starting the program! This is so exciting and intense, and I’m just silly over it.

Hive account@happysmileyman

Back after a bit of a hiatus, Hive account@happysmileyman graced us with a few beautiful photographs. It's great to see him back again after a week away, as his name suggests, he's always bringing smiles and happiness to our screens! If you haven't already, make sure you stop by to this post where he shares a particularly funny story about one of his experiences at Glastonbury!

Anyway... back to his most recent post, Steemit seemed to have a mind of its own with this one deciding to rotate his pictures for him!

Intending to just a say just quick hello Hive account@happysmileyman quickly turned to 'thinking out loud' when he saw the magical happenings taking place on his screen. It was not all lost, one of his pictures did not succumb to the magic spell Steemit seemed to be casting on his post.

Hive account@eonwarped

Have you ever heard of rainbow mud? Our member Hive account@eonwarped traveled to Iceland and he is now sharing some photos with us of a breathtaking place called Hverir, where the geothermal activity makes for some very interesting sights and smells. He takes us on an adventure that doesn't disappoint.

But what's interesting is that there's hidden color in the mud. It's not clear from here but the snow is covering up a rainbow of colors. Unappetizing, slimy colors though.

In addition to the rainbow mud, the steam that spews from the vents that scatter the Earth's surface there is explained by Hive account@eonwarped as being a rotten egg sulphur smell. While that doesn't sound pleasant, he made the most of it by having a pore opening 'free spa treatment' in the smelly smoke.
