Gem Heist

Hi friends,

My kids have a book on gemstones and it has some interesting facts on different kinds of gems. There was also a pretty interesting story that I wanted to share today:

It reads: “Greatest Gem Heist of All Time - People will go to great lengths to get their hands on the shiniest of gems. Many sneaky plots to steal gems from museums and royal vaults have taken place, but the greatest gem heist with the biggest price tag happened on November 25, 2019, at the Green Vault museum in Germany. The burglars snuck away with over one billion dollars’ worth of precious stones and jewelry, including diamond encrusted swords. The burgers are still on the run!”

Pretty interesting story! Anybody on here willing to admit it was them…
