Cheap ASE Pickup

Hi all,

I had some downtime at home the other evening and decided to browse the app LetGo. I saw someone near me had posted a 1988 American Silver Eagle for sale for $20. The post was 6 days old.

I reached out and let the person know I would be a buyer at $15, to which they said “OK”.

Sweet! The person lived in the same city as me, so I swung by and picked it up that day. Here it is:

With silver hovering around $15 per ounce, I am happy to buy any silver at spot price, but the fact that it is an ASE is a nice bonus. Normally, only dealers and local coin shops are listing coins on these sorts of apps, so I was lucky to find a private seller who was willing to sell at a cheap price.

It was a good reminder to keep your eye out for good deals in your own backyard.
