The Token

The NTMPI token powers Timpi’s ecosystem by enabling governance, validator staking, and discounts on services like search engine ads and data access.

Node operators earn NTMPI in return for contributing computing power, while users who pay with NTMPI receive discounts on web index data, node sales, and more.

NTMPI token holders can vote on governance proposals, as well as stake their tokens to the blockchain validators via the Neutaro block explorer.

Timpi's blockchain is based on the Cosmos SDK, and has been integrated into the Cosmos ecosystem, allowing you to buy NTMPI tokens via the Osmosis DEX.

In addition to a decentralized search index, Timpi also facilitates an open data marketplace.

Currently, only four major players (Google, Bing, Yandex, and Baidu) possess a comprehensive index of the Internet.
