Mastercard creates crypto dept.
With Libra tied up in regulation and gov opposition, it looks like it may be a while before it gets off the ground, if it ever does.
One of the big companies that agreed to run a Libra Node was Mastercard.
And while it doesn't appear they will be developing their own coin, they are hiring.
It seems they want to stay up with the technology as it develops.
One must ask why? what sort of payment transactions might they be interested in?
