**BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL**
I got confidence, I am confident,
I am better than colored, my skin don’t slack,
I am wrinkle free, I glow in the dark.
With or without makeup, my beauty is charm,
Come rain or sun, I don’t get harmed,
I sustain an injury, a wound or a scar,
A swell and a scratch, I don’t feel bad,
I heal in no time, and that’s a fresh start,
Melanin king, which is who I am.
