We have earrings now! 🎉

Today was a very special day for Sophia. We finally got her ears pierced…For the second time 😁

It all started when she was a baby. As soon as she turned 7 months old, her dad and I decided it’s time for her first set of earrings.

However, she kept playing with her ears and one of the holes got a bit infected. So we took them off. By the time we wanted to put them back on, her earlobe holes were already gone 😬 And so we never got around to attempting this again.
However, a few days before her fifth birthday, she decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. I sat down with her, explained the process and asked if she’s really down. Long story short, we just came back from the tattoo parlour/ piercing studio - she got her earrings and mommy got a second pair 😁

She was such a brave girl 💕

We also got to hang out with our friends and enjoy a delicious brunch ☺️ Sophia got to try some delicious cottage cheese pancakes! 😍

So overall, I’d say today was a success ☀️
