📈 S&P 500 closing the week with another ATH

Wall Street rallies on

Really good times if you are invested these days. The US index S&P 500 climed a new ATH high yesterday, reaching 6,600 points the first time and closing the week at a record of 6,585 points.

The YTD performance is +12% now and we are up +35% since the „tariffs low“ in early April. What a rally!

The market is mainly driven by the outlook on lower interest rates, with the Fed awaited to cut next week. Only question remaining is how fast they will cut. My base scenario is still two small rate cuts this year, bringing interest rates below the mark of 4%.
