A COLD WINTER EVENING IN PULA
I had to do some stuff in the city on the second day of this still very fresh, new, and at least when it comes to crypto stuff, kinda of a promising year.
The weather was much colder and the days were considerably shorter twenty-six days ago when the photographs I'm presenting in today's post were taken.
The sky was still blue, although in dark shades of that color when I arrived but the night will change the sky into black very soon.
In this opening photograph, you can see the decorative billboard situated near the parking lot of a pet shop I had to visit.
Here I zoomed in on the top of that billboard that resembled some kind of monument or a sculpture.
The side of that thing that isn't visible in these shots but can be seen from the street is a screen that constantly plays various adverts.
Across the busy street, right in the middle of a pretty large roundabout, I photographed this Christmas star that isn't there anymore.
Here you can see two more stars of the same type. They weren't far from the one presented in the previous shot.
All this stuff was photographed in the area along the street called "Medulinska tzesta."
That street leads straight from the city to Medulin, the small town where I live.
The following photograph ...
...was taken ten minutes later, and a couple of kilometers further, in the neiberhood called Veruda.
I had to do some stuff in the bank there.
In this shot, you can see the parking lot and some large buildings across the square.
When I came out of the bank, the sky was completely dark.
Next to the bank, there is a retail store that offers cosmetics, healthcare items, household products, health food, and who knows what else - I didn't explore every corner of that colorful place.
A dog was waiting for someone in front of the entrance.
In the space between that store and a boutique called Mana, there is a piece of art with no commercial purposes. It's there only to be a nice work of visual art.
The mannequins in the Mana store look like robots or aliens. I don't know, there is something creepy about them, especially at night. I like them, I like them a lot.
The previous photograph showed you the boys and here you can see the girls.
These storefront windows were a joy to photograph. Night can make some ordinary city stuff kind of poetic.
Veruda had a different type of Christmas stars. Each one was mounted on a pole.
They aren't there anymore. Christmas feels like something that happened a long time ago.
This Christmas tree stood in the middle of the square, there in Veruda.
Here you can see the same thing from a different angle. If you compare these two photographs, you'll see that the lamps of the tree were changing color.
AND THAT'S IT. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE NIGHT TOUR. AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
