Sly Dog

My daughter was delayed in returning from a business trip, and she asked me to pick up her dog. Normally I would have walked him home from his housing location, but the pavement was too hot for that. Without a pet carrier, I resorted to putting him on the passenger side floor.
He, of course, had other ideas, giving me that sly look that charms the ladies (allegedly). While implying that he would rather go out to find some ladies or trip the light fantastic, I knew that deep in his heart what he really wanted was to visit a tree, have some dinner and enjoy a squishy toy. We're alike that way; sometimes.
