Majestic Ridgeline Views
I took a hike to the highest point in the SAnta Monica Mountains, Sandstone Peak. It was such a clear day that visibility in any direction was 80 miles or more. Seeing the Channel Islands to the south and west, Santa Susana Mountains to the north, and the San Gabriel Mountains to the east was spectacular.
This picture is the view eastward. I also added a screenshot from the PeakFinder app, which give you the names and elevations of the high points on the horizon. I've climbed fourteen of the twenty-four identified. I'd better get on it and capture the rest!
