Making The BEST Lavender Lemon Jelly!
Making Lavender Lemon Jelly!
I've been growing Lavender for 10, 15 years? Something like that. But this yer, was a first for me! I finally made something edible with the lavender I've been growing for more than a decade. this Lavender Lemon Jelly goes great with cream cheese on bagels, served on goat cheese, with crackers! Gardens are in New England, zone 7a and 7b.
How to Make the BEST LAVENDER LEMON JELLY!
I started by snapping off the dried flowers, after they had bloomed. Inside these buds are both the bud and the tiny Lavender Seeds. I needed about 1/2 cup of buds. This jelly goes great on bagel and cream cheese. On a log of goat cheese, as an appetizer, too.
