Vaultec's multisig proposal to BlockTrades dev team
I've been super busy for the past couple of months as we're trying to get out a major upgrade to the Hive/HAF software suite, so I've fallen behind on my progress posts. I'll try to get one out next week, but in the meantime, I thought I would share a recording of the discussion our team had with @vaultec regarding layer 1 support for a more efficient signature system for signatures with multiple signers (i.e. multisigs).
We didn't make a transcript of the recording, but for those who don't have time to listen, the short summary is we discussed some of the potential challenges and we're tentatively planning to support BLS signatures, unless something unexpectedly comes up once we dive into the details of implementing it. Note this feature wouldn't be in the upcoming 1.27.5 release as that is planned to be released very soon.
