Block.one picks San Francisco to host first-ever U.S. EOS Hackathon

Block.one, the company behind the EOS blockchain, announced Monday that its next hackathon event will be held in San Francisco on Nov 10-11, 2018.

The event will serve as part four of the EOS Global Hackathon. The blockchain hackathon series is a first-of-its-kind event in the world of blockchain supporting the growth of a decentralized global community.

The San Francisco event marks the first time that Block.one has hosted a hackathon in the Western Hemisphere.

Developers, designers and entrepreneurs who are interested in attending can sign-up via the EOS Hackathon website.

Earlier this month, Block.one CEO Brendan Blumer confirmed via Twitter that the company is working on a wallet that would provide support for native EOS tokens.
