My Final Trip in 2022!
Image edited in canva
This is the final journey of mine in the year 2022. I can say that my year is a success. Many things happened, and all of those things help me build myself. Before the year ends, there's something special that happens to us and it makes my year complete.
My grandparents, together with my aunt and her family from Bicol, came to Negros Occidental to visit. It's been 4 years since my last vacation to Bicol, I never had a chance to see my grandparents since then. They are excited about this because it's their first time in Visayas.

They stay in our home for a week, and they celebrate the new year with us. It was so nostalgic because back then, my aunt and her husband used to work in our bakery in Caloocan city. Back then I was only a child, but now I am a teenager and a lot of things had changed, Today they have their own bakery in Bicol. I missed them so much and I was excited to tour them in this beautiful place of ours.
Before the year ends, I took them to a place where I experienced a lot. My aunt's husband is asking for a place where we can eat oysters, of course, I took them to Punta Tay Tay. This place gave me a lot of memories in 2022.
It is the place where I eat oysters for the first time, The YakMan eatery. They offer oysters, grilled/ fried Bangus (milkfish), sisig, and their special BellyChon or a roasted pork belly. We ordered all of them except the bellychon.
We ate a lot that time haha. My aunt's husband and my cousins are heavy eaters, I was forced to eat more and I have no choice! haha. I was so full when we finished eating.
It was already night when we leave the place, There was heavy traffic at that time because it was rush hour.
My aunt asks me if there was a place where they can buy some souvenirs, but her husband wanted to go to the park, so I brought them to Bacolod New Government Center. They are not disappointed because there was a park and a lot of souvenirs there.
We walk around the place and took a lot of photos there. The kids are so happy that time because of the fountain and the lights that surround the area.
I took some pictures of them as a remembrance of their stay in Bacolod.
My grandma and aunt were busy picking some souvenirs. This guy sells some mugs, ref magnets, bracelets, pipes, necklaces, and other house displays. Most of the things that he sells are carved out of wood and he offers free name carving on the item that you'll buy.
My aunt bought me this beautiful wooden bracelet.
My grandma bought a lot of mugs and bracelets, she said that she will give them to my other aunts and uncles when they go back to Bicol. After buying souvenirs and taking a lot of photos, we finally go home. Just like that, my final trip of the year 2022 ended.
That's all for Hive! thank you for reading. I hope you ended the year 2022 with a smile and start the new year with hope. Stay safe and have a great day.
