A Night Spent With Cousins

A moment with cousins is the best, especially when you seldom see each other. Each year may be different because you all grow and learn different things, but the bond you created since childhood cannot be changed and the memories that you create will just keep getting better and better.

This year, I had a chance to spend time with my cousins. We traveled 90 kilometers, almost 3 hours of ride, to visit my relatives in Cadiz City. My Uncle owns two bakeries there and my cousins are the ones that are in charge to look after one of the bakeries.

My relatives wanted to go to a resort at that time but it was postponed because it was almost dark. I stayed in the bakery with my cousins, while my family decided to stay in the other bakery together with my other relatives. I stayed there because my cousins told me that there was a carnival near the area and they want to go there with me at night.

When the night comes, I and my cousins eat dinner at Jollibee, we ordered these everyone's favorite, chicken joy, and ordered some extra rice and fries. We were so full at that time, and it was a very bad decision that we will regret later on that night.

After eating, we went to the carnival, it was a small carnival but it was we enjoyed everything in that place. There was a color game, card game, and coin game where you can bet on the colors or cards and have a chance to double or triple your money. I didn't bet on anything because I knew that I don't have any luck on me and I'll just lose my money on those things.

We decided to try the rides that are available at that time. The first thing that caught our attention is this spinning ride, I thought it was a Viking ride but it's not, it was the Frisbee. At first glance, I knew that my soul will leave my body when I ride that thing, and I wasn't wrong about it, We were screaming like little girls that time. That thing was spinning fast! After that, we were so dizzy, my vision was spinning and I wanted to vomit badly.

It didn't stop there, after a few minutes, we try another ride, that time it was a giant spinning swing, the swinger. That thing spins faster than the last ride, it was like we were flying that time. We look like drunk people after that ride, we couldn't walk properly because of dizziness. There were still other rides that time like the caterpillar, octopus, and the horror train, but we didn't dare to ride another one. That's why we regret eating Jollibee before trying those rides that night.

We only spend a short time there and we leave afterward. We decided to walk on our way home, they suggested drinking something to relieve our dizziness. I wasn't expecting them to buy a can of sprite, cultured milk, a bottle of Mogu-mogu, and a bottle of soju.

When we get home, they prepare the drink and get something to eat, thankfully they got mango float. We played UNO cards while drinking. After finishing our drink, we talk about our college lives and all of the things that happened last year. That night was fun, a lot of things happen in just a short time. A short time that will stay in our memories forever.
