Giving the Challenge a Go 🎨

Ok folks, so I’m going to give the HiveBuzz Monthly Posting Challenge a proper go and try to snag that little badge for posting every single day this month.

I’ve never done it before — mostly because I usually only post when I have something profound (or at least mildly interesting!) to say.
I tend to like quality over quantity — edited photos, decent lighting, something worth your read. Or at least, something that I enjoyed writing rather than it being a chore....
im not the "here is a photo" and 1 line explaining a dumb photo kinda gal..

But this month?
I’m still aiming for thoughtful, genuine posts — just more often.
Because, honestly… I want that badge. no idea why... just do...
basically get back in the habit as i forgot to post like for acouple of months and i felt super bad.. lol
perhaps im doing this to distract me from my REAL task or trying to get a little business side hustle up and running - sounds like something i would do. who else does that! lol..

worst case, i might end up with a couple more of the weekly badges... but lets not start of by expecting me to faill... lol

Where I’m At So Far

I’m already (fingers crossed) on Day 3, having posted on the 1st and 2nd UTC, which means this little ramble should tick the box for the 3rd. Im in Australia so need to be careful here.
If HiveBuzz cooperates, I’m still in the game!

What You’ll See This Month

I’ll mostly be posting around my usual creative pursuits:

• 🎨 Art and daily paintings – skies, clouds, colour studies
• 🌿 Gardening – whatever’s thriving or being munched on by bugs (brown snakes)
• ⚡ Storm photos – because Brisbane has been putting on a wild show lately
• 🧩 Splinterlands – yes, I still play now and then
• ✏️ Colouring pages – maybe I’ll share a few printable ones if there’s any interest?

Any tips or tricks?

• Should I have a few “backup posts” in case I get sick or run out of ideas?
• How do you keep posts fresh without falling into the “posting for the sake of it” trap?

Here’s to a month of art, writing, creativity, and a tiny pixel badge that somehow feels like a big accomplishment. And if i give up by day 6, im sorry - im sure is the ADHD kicking in

and NOW i have to go and do the Daily painting... something sUPER easy tonight methinks... otherwise ill never make it.. lol
