According to dieticians, as much as we care about the people we care for while cooking the food, not on its nutrition.   • Start cooking the kitchen well before clearing it thoroughly as there are many types of germs in the kitchen which can enter the food and make you sick.
  • Wash green and leafy vegetables thoroughly before cutting. Because vitamins and minerals in the green and leafy vegetables are soluble in water.
  • If you regularly use 3-4 spoonfuls of cooking oil in the food, then after the age of 30, you should use 2 teaspoons after 3 spoons and 45 years of age. Use olive and mustard oil only.
  • While cooking for the weight control, less ghee or oil should be used, it should be cooked mostly in steam.
  • If you need fewer calories and more calcium then use fat-free toned milk. Normal milk contains 3.5 percent fat, 150 percent calories and 290 calories of calcium. Whereas a cup of tow milk contains 0.5 percent fat, 90 calories and 316 mg of calcium.
  • Keep in mind the proper temperature, cooking for longer period ends their nutrients. Vegetables should not be used repeatedly.
  • When preparing the tadka, do not roast onions, ginger and spices for a lot of ghee or oil.
  • Take a little less salt while cooking for spices to taste.

Meal Cooking Methods

Microwave: It can be cooked very safely. The food in it cooks through its moisture, hence the taste and color of the food remains intact. While cooking the food from the microwave you can choose how long the food of your choice will be ready.
Steam or steam: This is the easiest way to keep nutrients safe in foods. Cook fresh vegetables such as carrots, flower cabbage, spinach, beans etc. in steam as long as possible.
Steer frying: It requires a small amount of ghee or oil and cooked vegetables for a short time. Do not stick with the pan when the food is low oil, so gradually stick in the water or sprinkle a little water in the middle.
Grilling: By this process the food flavors and textures increase by cooking food. There is little use of ghee or oil in it. Keep the cooked item above the grill in which the flame comes from below.
Roasting: Roasting is known as fast and easy way to cook vegetables. Nutrients are safe in this method. Use olive oil.
Solar cooker: It requires sun energy to cook. In this, cooking food is 20-30% higher in protein and vitamins compared to cooking traditional food. This can save fuel costs and it is pollution free.
