No one can predict the future, luckily for humanity. Instead we have to intuit the future based on several factors including game theory. Think what will happen, if this then that and try to assemble the steps. You cannot predict from the current without including changes and expect to be successful. Even that's super hard to do and probably impossible. There's no guarantee that Bitcoin will win, but it sure seems like it's inevitable. Add to it the fact that a lot of well respected people in their fields don't understand Bitcoin yet and it makes me even more confident.

Bitcoin is like the internet. How many people saw that coming and predicted how much of an impact it would have on the world? Not many! Most people talked crap on the internet as being overhyped or bad for the environment. Sound familiar?

kodak, blockbuster, sears, nokia, blackberry. Were all giants on top of the game that seemed like they couldn't fail. Now look... Humans simply can't predict the future.

Now that I think of it, Maybe AI can...
