Caught some LION dance troupes

The LION DANCE is part of Chinese New Year culture for centuries and its usually present at mostly auspicious events and festivities. Its symbolic resemblance of power, wisdom and good luck and is support to get rid of evil spirits and welcome prosperity and longevity and of course a lot of good luck !

This year in Kuala Lumpur, I've not seen many LION Dance troupes around the city however after travelling into Kota Kinabalu, I managed to catch one of these troupes in action. Just love the colors of the LIONS
