Pegaxy Drop Racing

This new system has a ‘treasure chest and key’ structure where users can obtain different consumables to use in-game for various purposes.

I have been doing this type of racing this last week as for me it’s quicker, as I have a lot of PEGA’s in my stable and at the moment I am racing them all myself as they are not currently rented out.

What I like is that instead of using 1 piece of energy out of 25, you use 5 pieces per race. So 1 PEGA with 25/25 energy you will get 6 races before it needs to rest again. So obviously the stakes are higher as it’s unlikely you will get many wins in 6 races.

Different chests house the various consumables that can be won. Here are some important details you should know:

1. You can choose a drop racing lobby, the option is right next to the standard VIS race lobbies.

2. When you win a race, you are presented with the following key fragments:

• 1st – 3 Key Fragments
• 2nd – 2 Key Fragments
• 3rd – 1 Key Fragment

Key Fragments can be used to create a Key.
• 30 Key Fragments = 1 Key

1. There is a 20% chance of obtaining a “treasure chest” if you come first.
   • There are 11 obtainable treasure chest types:

o Fire Stat Chest
o Water Stat Chest
o Wind Stat Chest
o Lightning Stat Chest
o Speed Stat Chest
o Strength Stat Chest
o Reduce Race Cool down Chest
o Fire Chroma Chest
o Water Chroma Chest
o Wind Chroma Chest
o Lightning Chroma Chest

• The type of chest you obtain will be defined by the type of arena you are racing in:

o Fire Lobby = Fire Chest
o Water Lobby = Water Chest
o Wind Lobby = Wind Chest
o Lightning Lobby = Lightning Chest

• All lobbies have a chance of obtaining these chests:

o Reduce Race Cool down Chest
o Strength Chest
o Speed Chest

• The drop rates for the types of chest are as follows:

o Skin Chroma: 30%
o Reduce Race Cool down: 14%
o Strength Chest: 14%
o Speed Chest: 14%
o Stat Chest: 28%

• When you open a chest, you have a chance to get an item at 5 different rarities:

o Uncommon: 50%
o Rare: 25%
o Epic: 15%
o Legendary: 7%
o Mythic: 3%

Seeing as we are in a bear market, I will continue to do the drop races, but when the bottom for Bitcoin is in and we see a trend reversal with solid momentum, then I will pivot back to racing for VIS.
