ABCD?

Got some free time so i transferred photos from the card and started going through them to see what i got on some hikes through Tara mountain.

As we gave up on climbing to Janjac viewpoint because it was to much, we were just strolling through this big field. As we headed back she started running back to baby carriage and my first thought was that she will look interesting in this big empty field so i took few photos as we were walking. At the moment i had 85mm lens on and i would probably like something wider to get the feeling of larger field. And probably wanted here to be more to the left of the shot. So i started with eliminating her brother from the scene :)

Then i thought his position in the frame woks well, but i need to crop it so i get them closer to the sides of the frame.

Forest and the road felt a bit distracting so i tried to crop it out. I like the simplicity of the shot, but i feel like something is missing :)

Next i tried to leave the road and just a bit of the forest. I think the road is a bit distracting. Without it there would maybe be and interesting line zig zagging from forest line, left to right, then back to here (there is some kind of path) and back to him.

One thing that i did not remember in the moment so i did not get it is leaving them on the bottom of the frame and including forest and mountain in the upper part of the frame.

The shot needs some more doge and burn and the grass feels a bit to sharp (?). Maybe even a black and white?. No award winning shot but it is interesting to me.
