Finally being productive

the rain is back for more. it has been raining in the end of February, then through most of March and April starts the same.

very hard to get anything done.
the other day, I finally got the timber I ordered a while back for a project I am working on, well, trying to.

yesterday morning the weather was holding back and I took full advantage to sort out what I have at hand.
measuring all of the planks, cutting 90 degree ends where needed and cutting to size.

and then I started fabricating the main frame.
I ordered 2x4´s with an 18mm. groove in them and got them with a 16mm. one instead.
so had to manually adapt the plywood at the edges to fit. kept me busy for an extra while longer then was supposed to be. pretty normal.
felt rewarding to be productive again.

today the rain is back with wind gusts that do not allow to do much out there so here I am writing, waiting to be able to continue.

I will update about this work in process and dedicate a post once this project is finished.
